- Firstly, visit the KRA tax official website at https://itax.kra.go.ke/KRA-Portal/.
- After clicking on the address above, you must log in to the portal. Supply your KRA pin and password.
- Afterwards, scroll and click on the “Returns” tab and “File Return.”
- After the above, a page opens up. Here, it would be best to choose your tax obligations (Income Tax-residence individual) and then proceed by clicking the “Next” tab.
- Download the Income Tax Resident Individual Form( You will be directed on how to download and Unzip it)
- Here, you must fill in the basic information, employment income, details of the PAYE deducted, and tax computation(Personal Relief) once the excel sheet opens.
- Next, you are to validate the supplied details on Income Tax Resident Individual Excel Sheet. Just hit the “Validate” tab on the screen to do this.
