TSC stands for ‘Teacher Service Commission,’ formed within the education sector to manage human resources. It is an independent commission based in the capital city of Nairobi, Kenya. With offices in all the 47 counties.

Below are a few steps to log in to your TSC Online Payslips Portal.

  • Step 1: Firstly, to log in, you must visit the T-PAY portal through their portal’s login web address https://tpay.tsc.go.ke/
  • Step 2: Once on the login page, input your login credentials (that is, your TSC Number and Password), and click on the login tab, just as shown in the image below.

On your T-Pay logged-in portal, there are functions you can access to process certain documents and perform other needed tasks on the portal. These functions include;

-View your payslips: this function allows you to see or view your TSC payslips.

-P9 Forms – you can get this to file your KRA return: P9 form, in this context, is a tax-deductive form that the Teacher Service Commission TSC issues to its registered members. This form contains teachers’ tax charges. Gross Pay, Pension Contributions, Basic Salary, Benefits, Personal Relief for the whole year, and Allowances.

 

P9 form – how to file returns:

To file returns using the P9 form, below are details and simple steps to follow:

  • Firstly, visit the KRA tax official website at https://itax.kra.go.ke/KRA-Portal/.
  • After clicking on the address above, you must log in to the portal. Supply your KRA pin and password.
  • Afterwards, scroll and click on the “Returns” tab and “File Return.”
  • After the above, a page opens up. Here, it would be best to choose your tax obligations (Income Tax-residence individual) and then proceed by clicking the “Next” tab.
  • Download the Income Tax Resident Individual Form( You will be directed on how to download and Unzip it)
  • Here, you must fill in the basic information, employment income, details of the PAYE deducted, and tax computation(Personal Relief) once the excel sheet opens.
  • Next, you are to validate the supplied details on Income Tax Resident Individual Excel Sheet. Just hit the “Validate” tab on the screen to do this.
  • Once you are done with the above process, it’s time to upload your Excel Sheet. Do this and proceed by clicking the “Submit” tab.
  • And finally, proceed to download the KRA eReturn Acknowledgment Receipt.

Step 1: Log in to your T-Pay account through the official portal’s login web address at https://tpay.tsc.go.ke/

Step 3: When logged in, click on the “View Payslips” and scroll and do the same on “Latest Payslips” to view recent payslips.
